Pecha Kucha; Present Your Ideas in 6 min / 40 seconds

Recently, I was introduced to the viral new movement of Pecha Kucha Night. In essence, Pecha Kucha is based on delivering a presentation of 20 slides for no more then 20 seconds a slide for a total presentation time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The quick pace keeps viewers interested, alert and engaged; a far cry from typical presentations. I love the conecpt, the energy and the simplicity of Pecha Kucha and if anyone is interested in starting a Denver / Boulder Pecha Kucha group I’d be happy to take that lead.

I am a childhood friend of George. I do not live in the Denver area but when I come out to visit I would love to check out Pecha Kucha Night. It sounds like a great way to learn new things. It seems that our level of patience has shortened in the past decade. I wouldn’t say its a good thing but I wouldn’t mind presentations kept short and to the point.
